We customize each complimentary Puppy Starter Kit for each breed or mix that we raise so that their kits are geared to essential items that they will need. Each kit is a way of saying THANK YOU for giving one of our puppies a wonderful home!

We want all of our puppies to have a smooth transition from our house to yours, and this is one way that we can help out! We also list what our puppies are exposed to for socialization and training at the bare minimum.

Bringing a new puppy into your home is an exciting journey — and we know you probably have lots of questions! At Maple Poodles Home, we believe that transparency, trust, and ongoing support are the cornerstones of responsible breeding and happy puppy placements.

 

We specialize in Toy, Miniature, and Standard Poodles, as well as CKC-registered Miniature Poodles. All our puppies are selectively bred for health, temperament, and conformation.

Yes! Our puppies come with CKC (Continental Kennel Club) registration papers, and all parents are health tested to ensure high standards of quality and care.

Each puppy goes home with our Puppy Starter Kit, which includes food samples, health records, toys, leash, collar, probiotics, training tools, a scent blanket, and more — plus a 5-year conditional health guarantee.

To reserve a puppy, simply fill out our puppy application form and submit a deposit. Puppies are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis after application approval.

Yes, we offer safe and reliable delivery across the U.S. through ground transport or flight nanny service. We work closely with professional pet transporters to ensure your puppy arrives safely.

All puppies are vet-checked, vaccinated, and dewormed before leaving. We follow strict biosecurity protocols to ensure your puppy is healthy and well-socialized.

At Pleasant Meadows, we place great emphasis on early socialization and foundational training to help your puppy grow into a confident, well-adjusted companion.

  • Daily Handling from Birth
    From the moment our puppies are born, they are gently handled and nurtured. We hold, cuddle, and play with them every day to ensure they are comfortable with human touch and form early bonds with people.

  • Puppy Culture Bi-Sensor Program
    Our puppies participate in the Puppy Culture Bi-Sensor Program, which includes specific exercises like holding the puppy in various positions (e.g., head pointed downward for 3–5 seconds) to stimulate their neurological development during the critical early weeks.

  • Broad Socialization Exposure
    We introduce our puppies to a wide variety of sights and sounds found in a typical household — such as vacuum cleaners, door sounds, clanging pans, and ringing phones. Additionally, we expose them to unusual sounds like thunderstorms, fireworks, train horns, and sirens to help reduce fear responses later in life.

  • Early Potty Training
    Puppies are started on pee-pad or grass-pad training and will be introduced to outdoor environments around 6–8 weeks of age to support successful housebreaking.

  • Crate Familiarization
    Each puppy is introduced to both wire and plastic crates, sleeping in them as a group at night to simulate a cozy, den-like space. This helps them associate the crate with comfort and security.

  • Basic Command Introduction
    Around weeks 6–7, we begin teaching simple commands such as “sit” and occasionally “lay down,” depending on each puppy’s pace. We use positive reinforcement and small treats to reward good behavior.

  • Vehicle Ride Experience
    Since our veterinarians are located 40 minutes to 1 hour away, all puppies will experience car rides of at least 1 hour and 20 minutes to 2 hours around the 7–8 week mark. This not only helps identify any motion sensitivity but also provides valuable exposure to new situations and extended crate time in transit.

This digital format makes it easy to access anytime — even before pick-up — so you can feel ready and supported from day one. It’s also eco-friendly, reducing the need for paper handouts in your Puppy Starter Kit.

Puppy Pick-Up Times:
Puppies go home at 8 weeks of age. Pick-ups are scheduled for 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM on the puppy’s 8-week birthday or the nearest available weekend, as arranged by Pleasant Meadows.
